I opened a decade old .psd in both Photocraft, and GIMP.
Photocraft 100% reproduces the original intended look, whereas GIMP shows the text only rasterized because of the distortion.
Photocraft even allows to edit the text, which is just so coooool!
Something I missed from GIMP 
Even adjustment layers work as I expect.
This piece of software seems to me useful.
