Can you tell us how Atuin copes with multiple terminal session each writing their history to the one database?
Can each terminal access its own history, and can it access the histories of other terminals?
It would seem .bash_login does not cope with multiple terminals , at least not in the default configuration. It copes while the multiple terminals are active , by using .bash_historynnnnn.tmp files, but once you close a terminal its history is lost, unless it is the last terminal that was open.
How does Atuin behave?
