I hate smoke, and hated since forever…
Long ago in my youth -something 30 years ago- I worked in a building, in which more than 50% of the other people were smokers. Not a big deal as I had my own room (office?), and theoretically could keep smoke outside… but anyone who came in, did not drop his cigarette before, so it was still emitting smoke while talking with me…
Asking politely to leave it outside did not always succeed.

I liked the citations very much from Murphy’s laws, and I also had a book of a graffity collection, in that there were funny sentences too. I grabbed one:
“If you won’t smoke, I won’t fart”
Printed it on an A4 page, and stuck it on the wall like a poster in my room, right in front of the door.
Guess, it was very successful! After 2 weeks noone came in with cigarette in his mouth/hand, and I remember I was surprised how effective that sentence was.
Smokers first smiled, later did not bring their smelly stick inside at all.
And I didn’t even have to fart really!
Maybe you could borrow and adapt that sentence in a way?
