I have also posted this new topic on Linux Mint forums. My new Lenovo laptop running Linux Mint 22.2 will not connect to the dongle on my stereo amplifier using bluetooth. It connects when the dongle is in the receive mode, but not when dongle is in transmit mode, My old laptop did connect to the dongle in the transmit mode so I could send the output of the stereo amplifier to the laptop. Then I could listen via the laptop earphone jack. I tried removing and reinstalling Blueman and Bluez in the software manager and in a terminal. I also have installed PulseEffects which is problematic in itself. Forgive me if I am somewhat naive about Linux in general, but any help would be appreciated. I also tried a new UGREEN dongle. No help.
