Caribou hotkey?

Interesting read on the subject from a year ago. It appears the issue is still being worked on by GNOME devs, at least as of 7 mos. ago, but still unresolved. The population of “convertible/2-in-1 Linux users” is just too small to cause an earthquake strong enough to move this up the dev stack.

Interesting to me (and probably not a popular POV in this forum) it (OSK behavior with keyboard/mouse detected) is rock solid in both Windows 10 and 11. Good topic for this thread?

But wait: evidently the KDE devs have figured out something GNOME devs haven’t yet or none of the hardware manufacturers (Dell / Lenovo / HP / Asus, etc., etc.) have opened their proprietary drivers except to them?
