Why would you be shocked. AI is good at copying things. Ask it to invent a totally new music style. I bet it will fail.
With some songs no matter what language I cannot always follow the words.
Even popular songs such as abba… 24 hours from Tesco’s … Where the words are actually Glasgow!
Ha ha ha
Bet you go play it to see !
You may be right.
I don’t know.
What do you think of this one?
Can you listen to it?
I tried it. I really dont have a clue about music… synthetic or otherwise, and my hearing is declining… I have trouble picking up words in speech or song.
It is written there too. The funny part is how this music was born:
I added the prompt:
“smooth jazz for neville on the itsfoss forum, to show how good AI is at copying”
It took then 15 seconds to generate.
I admit, the “singer” sounds muddy, but the instrumental part is kinda OK.
If I had prompted somehow for an electronic music, the voice of the “singer” would not be distracting that much.
Well, as far as I know, 1.) universities still don’t like Chat GPT being used as a source, since they check for it with things like TurnItIn … so that’s going to be a problem…
2.) ChatGPT has this habit of being kind of an absent minded professor. I’ve had it direct me to go places and do things in applications that are non-existent.
I tink u can huminify gpt responses so that they wont be detected by the websites
I’m not talking about having it write stuff for you, I just don’t think they like you using it for researching anything … mostly because it’s wrong a lot of the time.
Is there a way of using it to drive move visitors to our site ?
I know nothing of this new technology
Things universities like
- spend time in the library and trace references
- consult an expert in the field
- think up something innovative yourself
- do an experiment
GPT does not fit any of those. It is like getting 100 opinions at random and averaging them.
Has anyone ever tried Google NoteBookLM?
In that tool u just upload or add a source and ask questions about it. U can even make a podcast…
The site says it summarizes information from multiple sources
It seems to have restricted availability… you need a google account.
I wonder how private are the sources you feed to it?
Free for everyone with a google account.
The sources can be files, youtube videos, websites, anything…
Although I don’t knos how private theyll be kept…
Be careful with ChatGPT!!!
It lies (at least sometimes it does), I just caught it.
I purchased a licence for DR Studio version.
My readings long ago told me that once a licence is bought, the upgrades from version to version are free. I need to run DR 18.6.
But I wasn’t completely sure, and tried to search for a positive info.
As I did not find it in my hurry, and the chance of the excellent deal on e-bay seemed to fade slowly, I asked chatGPT.
It told me then an absolutely negative answer.
(Now I repeated my question, just to see wether it still “lies”, and yes, it does.)
davinci resolve studio 18.6 can be activated using a serial for studio 17?
A ChatGPT ezt mondta:
ChatGPT
No, you cannot activate DaVinci Resolve Studio 18.6 using a serial key for Studio 17. Each version of DaVinci Resolve Studio requires its own specific activation key, so the serial key for version 17 will not work with version 18.6.
If you’ve upgraded to DaVinci Resolve Studio 18.6, you will need to purchase a new license or obtain an updated serial key that is compatible with this latest version. Blackmagic Design typically offers upgrades to users who purchased the software within a certain time frame, but if you have an older version, a new purchase is necessary.
Thanks God, I started to find the positive answers, like this
and this
https://www.reddit.com/r/davinciresolve/comments/lhjmii/is_buying_studio_a_lifetime_license_for_all/
So I took the courage, and made the deal on e-bay.
I’m more than happy, as the activation of the version 18.6 went smooth on both my laptop and my desktop.
If I had believed ChatGPT, I would not have a Studio version bought for cheap.
Don’t believe blindly what the AI tells, it may fool you!
Like all websites, it is out of date the day after it was created.
I can remember it feeding me advice based on dated information
Well done, you have cross checked and found it out and have your new DR.
True. But nowadays acc to my usage it is pretty accurate. For gpt, if u want to confirm the response given by it, just say 'check the web and confirm ur response ’ and itll do the job…
Also google gemini has a dedicated button to check integrity and truthfulness of the response…
That is like asking an encyclopedia to validate its own content?
I wonder how long before scammers crack gpt?
But unlike encyclopedia…it works! Its like updating info of encyclopedia using the internet
Im not defending gpt, just stating the things ive noticed while using it
[quote=“Hrishikesh Kelkar, post:78, topic:12747, username:TypeHrishi”] Its like updating info of encyclopedia using the internet

Maybe that makes it susceptible to being fed false or misleading information.
You can rely on an encyvlopedia because its content is refereed or edited
I am not against gpt… I think we all should be cautious in using it, and I think it needs further development.
Without “Maybe”.
It is.
