In the late noughties (circa 2008/2009) I built 3 desktop PCs for my two daughters and missus…
Installed Windows XP, then setup dual boot with Ubuntu on one, and used ghost to clone across to the other two…
They refused to use the Ubuntu install…
My wife doesn’t even use a computer any more - just her iPad… Daughters have Macs…
More evidence that Linux resistance is gender based.

My wife may be an exception, she just uses whatever she gets. However, it’s up to me to help her if something happens which she didn’t expect to happen or something did not happen what she expected to happen ![]()
She has now a Win 11 in a VM for her homeoffice works, so sometimes she changes between Windows / Linux back and forth couple times in 10 minutes, and no problem with that ![]()
Otherwise, if the statement is serious: I know numerous male beings who refuse to even to try Linux. ![]()

Only half serious. It seemed that a pattern was emerging, but you have broken it.
My wife uses anything , but mostly Android.
At work we used to have a team of female computer technicians… they were very competent BSD users and they could program.

Not only a good movie about women, but smart black woman.
When you think of the racial tension in the USA it was an interesting film and proved just how far they could go. I found it by accident looking at the local cinéma program offered by the cultural societ in our town. Informative educational glad I went.
