They can all be clad vertically with solar panels all up and down their exteriors, so they produce their own power too.If we find that those structure can’t produce enough power, they’ll have to share in the cost of regional solar/wind farms too. The main idea is that companies and individuals that consume power, produce what they need so the rest of us aren’t burdened with meeting their needs.
That is not anywhere near good enough.
For cars you need swapover power packs … like exchange gas cylinders. The idea of waiting hours for plugin charging is unworkable.
Li batteriee are way too heavy and bulky. There has to be a better option.
Agree, plus local garages are now not repairing electric cars due to battery costs and special equipment needed to work on them due to electric shock posibility

Wrong! Arc welders, including stick, TIG, MIG, etc run at relatively low voltages - typically 12-36V or so… But they have very high currents… OTOH the entire reason for going to higher voltages in EV’s and electrical transmission systems is to get LESS current through a given resistance…

I haven’t done taste tests, but I can say from experiencing both, that a MIG welder at set at 24V and around 130 amps is no where near as ‘attention getting’ as the 2nd anode (20-30KV and 1-2mA) on an old fashioned CRT - that will launch you across the room!
