Anyone know why since about Ubuntu 20.04 and all its sychophantic hangers on (in Australia well sometimes call bits of pooh hanging onto body hair “dags”) we now have to type :

“sudo dmesg”

How much time did they save themselves, and LOSE for ALL OF us? Seriously - WTF was wrong with plain old “dmesg”???

Did taking this away fix something?
