Internxt and rclone

I’m posting this because Internxt is often named as a sponsor in “itsfoss” newsletters.

I’m attracted to the lifetime subscription option and the discounts offered to the itsfoss community, to say nothing of the Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals.

I would sign up if I could be assured that rclone works with Internxt. Internet searches reveal a mixed bag of answers, usually specifying that it works with S3 storage.

I’m not sure what that means exactly, and whether that entails a higher subscription cost.

Any experience here or information that could inform me one way or another?

I would not mind being able to deprecate my use of the service that begins with Drop!

That’s a valid concern.
