That is a really good set of reasons.
There are probably about 20 distros a new user could reasonably use. That is a remarkable amount of choice.
We are well off in that respect.

More like a “powerful” user.
Both Void and Gentoo was listed in top 5 best Linux distros for power users.

Not sure what a power user is.
I sometimes do large calculations, but any distro will do it.
I think my choice is part philosophical… non-systemd and rolling release are my main criteria.
