This solution works for Linux Mint: How to get Wifi working in Linux Mint after installation - gHacks Tech News
I don’t use Ubuntu myself, but I suppose there is some way to get to a similar setting?

Did you try:

sudo apt install firmware-atheros?

However, the main problems are the lack of a universal WiFi access layer standard which would make things easier for manufacturers of devices and operating systems alike and the reluctance of many device manufacturers to provide proper Linux drivers.

Sometimes, the only solution is to buy a WiFi dongle which is known to work well with Linux.

I can buy dongle then what is the use of inbuilt one.
WiFi is perfectly working in Windows 10.

Showing like this:

wintersoldier@wintersoldier:~$ sudo apt-get install firmware-atheros
[sudo] password for wintersoldier:
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
E: Unable to locate package firmware-atheros
wintersoldier@wintersoldier:~$

It’s for Linux mint. I can’t understand it. :frowning:
