Or: Settings (the gear icon on the upper right) > Search > turn off “Show search widget in new tabs” at the top of the list.
Ok. Many thanks Don
Mikael. I use Brave, love it. I use the extension called “Group Speed Dial” which works very well. It shows a load of boxes with the URLs that I use most. It’s reliable and configurable. One great feature is you can sync it to all your browsers which saves a bunch of time.
Sounds great will have a try and see how it is . Thanks Mike
Is Brave origin open source software? Their website wasn’t clear about it.
It includes open source software, according to its notes under Help. I use it because it blocks most ads and trackers and it’s free for Linux users.
Vivaldi has a Start Page that works like that and supports widgets. I use raindrop.io for all my bookmarks. The free version does almost everything. It keeps and indexes my bookmarks. It supports folders and tags. But the best thing is that it’s totally cross platform and cross browser. I can use it on Linux and Android and have bookmarks found on one show up on the other without doing anything extra.
