Thanks, looks a lot neater!! Had to install the “gnome-shell-extension-manager” open it and disable the Ubuntu dash and install Dash to Dock!!

The default Ubuntu 24.04 running Gnome will allow you to move to the bottom too. Takes a little digging in the settings.
On my laptop I am running Ubuntu 26.04 with the same standard Gnome on the bottom. For 24.04 I’ve been running Plank which I think is related to dash2dock.
Plank is not compatible with Wayland and won’t run for me on 26.04.
