Maybe someone of you knows an answer to the issue I posted on VLC’s official forum.
this link shows how to set it in the advanced preferences menu. it isn’t exactly live like your question asks for and i am using bodhi (ubuntu lts based) instead of windows, but hopefully it will be similar. i did have to set it and restart vlc to get it to take. i tried it at 1.16 and 1.62 and both seemed to work.
Already did that, but it is not only hard to reach but most importantly, it also is not affecting the live playback.
i did have to restart to get it to take so that makes sense.
