Very new to Linux but eager to learn as much as I can. I use an older PC just for that, mostly in case I use some fatal codes along the way and destroy everything in my path. hope it will not happen though

I’m an electronics technician, currently studying to also get a degree for that (would come in handy at salary negociations for sure) and the mother of an amazing 1 y.o., however a handfull and thus giving me little time to spend in front of my two PCs to learn whatever I can.

So far I have about four days of experience with Linux, it is now Monday, the 20th September 2021. I started with Ubuntu and failed due to incompatibility with my MBs graphics card, so I’m switching to Mint. 20.2 MATE - it just felt like this is the one.
