Hi. I am 65 & retired. Been a high-school teacher for 23 years & taught basic computing for 9 of those. I had to use Windoze as all the systems were based on this. I tried using Linux from Red Hat 5 (I think) but finally switched about 6 years ago. I mostly use Ubuntu (18.04 now) but like Mint, Lubuntu and others.
I use this for video editing, genealogy, programming (Python), photo editing etc.
Love the FOSS as I can get some fantastic software & try it without outlaying megabucks. I contribute to software I regularly use.
