I am a Canadian transplant (Alberta) living here in the US since 1980. Mostly in California in several areas such as Southern California, the Bay area, Sacramento, Bakersfield and now in North Tahoe in Kings Beach.

I am a mother to 3 grown children in their 20’s and have 1 granddaughter with another one on the way end of Jan 2019.

My background is in Accounting/Bookkeeping but I am currently looking to have an e-commerce business out of my home. I have some health issues that I can’t work a full time 9 to 5 job so I am looking at other things to do.

I am self-taught kind of person and love tech and computers and software and don’t mind trying new things and figuring out as I go along. Of course, it is always great to find like-minded “brilliant” people who I can learn from!

I have been using Ubuntu and now just recently Kubuntu for about 4 to 5 years now. Somethings have been great and somethings not so great but I like it better than Windows.
