Spent a career as a media executive (small market newspapers, mostly, but at a high level, managing multiple properties and print plants). Left that career behind a year ago after a health scare and I now work as a media wrangler (director of media) for a state agency. I’m a Linux enthusiast, and I confess to having a preference for doing things through the GUI when possible, though I know my way around Terminal a bit. I am not a hacker or programmer… just a fairly adept computer user who enjoys simplicity and functionality and an aesthetically pleasing operating system.
