I have downloaded Scrivener Appimage to Downloads, and also Appimage Launcher. When I run the Appimage I have the option to chose “Integration and Run”. This is to add an icon on the menu and run the application from there. But nothing happens and the application doesn’t start. I have tried to change the settings in Appimage Launcher but with no success. Whats the problem?

Can you start other appimages?
If so, the problem might be the app itself.
I dont have other appimages and dont know where to download Scrivener from other places
You are right, I tried with an other appimage and this time it works ok.
