386 is nice but there are other Light / Middle weight Distro out there.
From 2 distro I tested;
Xubuntu 18.04 mem total = 399 (Xfce)
MX 19.3 ---------------------- = 412 (Xfce)

Yes we all know they are out there but why bother with that flaky, buggy Xfce nonsense when only using nice 386MiB you can have the winning gnomeMate tweaked by Trisquel to look and feel so polished and so stable right out of the box… without any of that lightweight ambiance!
@Mina And to top it all it runs fast and snappy as you like on a 13 year old laptop - how cool is that…?

My favorite DE is Cinnamon, i’ve tried xfce, gnome, kde and mate but keep going back to cinnamon
