Boot problems (due to "faulty" usb-stick?)

That was a failure. It could not find my original.

Uh, that´s rather unfortunate.

With me I see 3 entries:

  • System assigned profile picture
  • Gravatar, based on [e-mail address]
  • Custom picture

So I assumed your personal picture would be there as well.

That is what I see, but gravatar does not work, and custom picture is that graphic with dots and U’s.

I see an upload button next to “custom picture”.
Can´t you upload your picture this way - again?

Yes, that is what I have to do. Finding the picture might be a challenge.

I´d suggest: go to: https://avatars.githubusercontent.com/u/22612586?v=4

and take the picture from there (possibly with a screenshot).

Hi Rosika,

Well, besides buying a new flash drive (stick), it looks like you have another solution to the boot problem. Insert the stick after you have booted the PC. Simple and no cost.

That´s a solution, of course. I admit I wouldn´t have thought of that. :blush:

Well, as long a s the stick doesn´t produce any other errors that´s something worth considering.
Still: I guess it might be a good idea to save all the important data from the stick as long as it´s readable.
