The cloudflare solution i have seen in use and appears to work verifying users, but no idea on cost or application on this site.
If what we have got now works 99 % of the time and costs nothing, then stick with it.
But check we are not excluding some users who either cannot follow the system to log in or have a technical problem preventing them doing so. Such as email not working so dont get the access click through link.
Here is a short video demonstrating it in use and how to set it up. It isnāt very thorough, but there are longer videos if someone wants more information to set it up.
I noticed that the MX Linux website (mxlinux.org) uses the cloudflare system .
It is indeed automaticā¦ it says " wait while we verify you are human" then lets me in .
I dont understand how it could distinguish me from a robot, without any input from meā¦ it must be taking data from the internet ?
Iām not sure either. My reading suggests that it does analyze your mouse movement and decides if you are human or not.
In any case it does seem very easy from an end user perspective. It would require some work on the Itās FOSS end. I donāt know that they use Cloudflare at this point, but maybe thatās something that could be considered.
