If you get a warning in Mint when it is updating about Broken Packages and telling you to fix them, don’t panic there is a quick and easy way to do so.
- Go to Synaptic Package Manager
2)Click on Edit
3)When the box comes up it will show you Fix Broken Packages click on that.
Let it do its job and repair them. It will say Successfully Fixed dependency problems
After it has completed refresh the Update Manager and that should sort it - if it hasn’t it is because Synaptic Manager did not complete. Oh don’t forget to close SPM
