Can super-key be setup for web search à la Cortana?

KDE has so many options…

Is there one that allows to search the web with default browser just by hitting the super-key?

I don’t know about Cortana but if you want to define a shortcut to open a search tab in your standard browser, you can do the following:

In the menu, go to System Settings, under Workspace select Shortcuts -> Custom Shortcuts -> KMenuEdit -> Search

Under Trigger enter the shortcut, under Action the command or URL.

Hope that helps.

Now you’re talking!

Thanks! :slightly_smiling_face:

The pleasure is all mine.

What could make it even more interesting, would be to have a box to directly type a search in on the taskbar (panel).
