Car brands collecting data

We heard about vacuum cleaners, now it seems some car brands are collecting data and selling it for AI purposes.

So dont have a conversation about passwords in your vehicle.
It makes computer security almost an irrelevant issue… the world is finding other ways to monitor you.

I’ll just keep driving my old 1996 Chevy Silverado 4x4, do not believe it has all that monitoring software.
I guess we can no longer take our girlfriend or wife parking !!!

I would like to have that vehicle.
Our 1968 Landrover is farm use only now.

I dont think my little 16 year old renault twingo is capable, too old.

But in the car i usually have at least one telephone and google kniws where i have been as each month it tells me, then shows me a photo of something i did that day 6 years ago.

Because i ride a motorcycle i have liberty rider which was offered by my assurance, that too knows where i have been, how long it took me, when i stopped for traffic or shopping… handy if i fall off it calls the police or ambulance

Everywhere we go we are watched and recorded but what do they do with all that data ?

I suppose that is no different to living in a medieval village and having everyone know you and see what you do every day. Today is just a bigger village .

What you do with data is ultimately tell other people. That is the same as village gossip only on a larger scale.

Your air fryer could be SPYING on you

I did check to see if it was 1 april…

We dont have one so not worried. Our fryer is the local resto, better conversation with the owner.

There are apparently all sorts of devices that can collect data on you

The ‘global village’ has arrived. We have to learn to live with it.
