Yes, I think you did but I see what you intended to mean now but no - no such directory exists. The mount points only exist under /media/NAS/ if I understand you correctly. There are no mount points listed in my /Home directory. media and mnt exist in root.

There is a package called udisks2 which is essential for a FileManager to see unmounted partitions. I do not know, but I imagine it is also needed to see network disks.?

as a matter of interest I came across this earlier answer I wrote to a question about SMB mounts on Ask Ubuntu in 2021. I use the same techniques today.
