If you use a Debian or a Debian derivative distro you can install the following package
apt install debian-kernel-handbook
It does not make an app … it downloads files into
/usr/share/doc/debian-kernel-handbook
and you can read them with
file:///usr/share/doc/debian-kernel-handbook/kernel-handbook.html
There is lots of useful kernel information.
You can also access it on the internet
That might be helpful for non-Debian users.
