Hi, ignorant Newbie here, uninstalled Windows some time ago.
This morning I got the following mail:

So I don’t need to update, right? I am especially concerned that the word “BIOS” is in there.
Shall I just unsubscribe from Dell updates service?

And if there is a BIOS update, this is not at all related to the operating system. You can prepare a BIOS update pretty much anywhere.
