I have just installed a lubuntu disk in a older machine and the client needs french accents but the keyboard is English layout as he is English.
Tried installing french language pack, tried changing the keyboard layout and it only offers English
Lubuntu is very limited in its options but it is what the client was used to so must did as he had it before.
Normally you use alt and. Number, or alt GR and number. Or alt and symbol then letter …
None work
Close with dead keys such as hash but that only works on e not a or for the cidila
If this fails will swap him to mint instead as more options.
Just as an add to this if in abey word I can insert symbol but that option is not available in yahoo mail. Unless you know better.
