Please explain how to down load maps on my Garmin nuvi 1450
They only support windows

I had a Nuvi, still do somewhere. I used it until I got a smart phone 4 years ago. I downloaded maps from Open Street Map and there’s an app to convert the OSM format into a Garmin map. Then I just copied it onto the Nuvi’s micro-SD card. I used it in Europe, Canada and Uganda.

The conversion is a little complicated. You’ll have to do some searching, but it is possible. You don’t need to buy maps from Garmin.
