I hate to admit this, but I’ve never tried or even heard of Sophos. Not that this makes it bad. There are hundreds of distributions, and I do not distro hop as much as I used to. Reads like it’s an interesting addition. The VPN glitch is unusual. I’ve not encountered that before. Not sure if this is a product of its base, Debian testing, or something to do with the security network policy or what.
They said on their forum its a security Network policy. And now im so use to it it does not bother me but maybe if one could do a script that started when the pc booted up so it automatically filed in the password,but im not sure it would work it was just an idea.
I’ve not done this before for a VPN, but I have done boot-level scripts for remote share mounting. I would have to think it’s doable here. Or one on login. I’d board-search that.
