That is an expensive option if you only need one occasional Winapp.
Now day’s, it does not really matter, whether you build for Linux or Windows, it is still expensive!!
Except that if you build for both separately, it is twice as expensive.
FYI – I just got a notification that Codeweavers have released Crossover 26.3 for Mac and Linux.
Further random update: I’ve recently been trying to get an old game from 2006 running in Linux, but it only runs in Japanese in ANSI + CP932… Farted around for a while before trying it with Bottles and the soda-9.0.1 runner and it worked flawlessly from the first attempt. Cheers again for sharing; you saved me a headache!
Well sometimes there is good news… in the real world it seems good news occupies about 5% of the air time, but we might be able to better that here.
I had no idea how Bottles would perform.
