I have never hear of ricing, so I had to google it. Found out it has to do with car racing also.
But for Linux it has to do with a person customizing their desktop.

I would say you need
-Arch instead of Ubuntu because of the rolling distro (Arch) vs stable distro (Ubuntu) https://archlinux.org/
-Hyprland https://hyprland.org/
-dotfiles search: Hyprland dots GitHub

If you stay with Ubuntu search: “conky Linux” to start with your journey.
