Are you sure you enter the correct password?

Let me explain:
I see you may use non-latin characters?
What is on your keyboard?
A very typical mistake over here is that the user enters a password during the setup. During the setup phase the keyboard is usually set to “english”.
So when the user uses some accented characters in the password, what really entered was “;” instead of “é”. When the system is up and running, the keyboard is already set to hungarian, the entered password contains “é”, which was “;” during the setup phase with the english keyboard.
I hope you get the idea…

Probably try to press ctrl-alt-F2, that should switch to TTY2 console, and try to login there. If it succeeds, the problem is probably in the GUI (Hyprland), if it fails too, your “correct password” is not correct.

Silly question, but did you switch on the num lock key ?
Otherwise it will act as direction arrows, easy mistake.

Sorry, I had to ask, as been caught out by clients before not knowing the difference between O and 0 , I 1 or l etc… also after the reboot at install the numlock can revert to direction arrows on desktop machines

Happy your problem is solved
