My desktop icons are not showing up and the menubar is also not there left corner. If i have to open anything then i need to go to the top corner in activity section… So anyone can help??
Did you make custom changes that could have caused this issue?
From your description, I am assuming that you are using GNOME desktop.
There is this command that can reset your GNOME desktop environment but keep in mind that it may reset library settings, delete accounts, disable plugins, and/or require you to re-authenticate with online services.
dconf reset -f /
