Yes, I agree with this statement too. Just like a car is a tool to get from point A to B. I am not a car mechanic, but I enjoy being able to drive my car.
@nevj is correct that Linux is a learning experience, but then again anything “new” to you is a learning experience. I learn a lot about Linux when I first switched over to it as my primary OS.
That was 4 years ago and now I am not learning much of anything about Linux. When I was having problems with Linux, I needed to learn how to fix them. Now with very few problems, very little learning.
