While I can access much with Firefox, a teammate of mine in BOINC can’t access Milkyway@Home website with Chrome or Chromium, but I can with Firefox.
Do you know of a way to access Milkyway with Chrome or Chromium?
Thanks,
George Generke

Your connection is not private
Attackers might be trying to steal your information from milkyway.cs.rpi.edu
Is the link. The issue is with the security certificate offered by the site chrome and chromium do not think its valid hence blocks it. If you click advanced, then click on go to site anyway you shouod be able to connect.
Chrome is trying to protect you.
If you believe the site to be ok, you could try
Go to chrome://settings/content/insecureContent , add your website pattern under Allowed to show insecure content.
But not all chromium browsers allow this step
Thank you Paul. I’ll relay this info to my teammate.
