Just read FOSS Weekly 25.46.
I’ve been using Konsole forever and never noticed the context menu option to open folder in file manager. That’s super useful! I usually go the other way - opening a terminal panel in Dolphin to do things that are easier on the CLI.
There are a bunch of things like the open with context menu option in Dolphin that already know how to open files in appropriate applications that are easier to use than remembering the exact command on the CLI and I have added some of my own via bash scripts.
This old notebook is currently stuck in Kubuntu 18.04 and open in file manager works, but open (underlined) file with … doesn’t seem to work. I’ll try it on my new notebook ASAP once Linux is configured on it.
Thanks for the tip!
