On my lenovo thinkpad I tried various ways and apps and extensions to limit battery charge level in the interest of extending battery life. I seem to have totaly messed my laptop and it wont charge at all now. I have gone into bios and found nothing of interest on the subject. I have done a clean reinstall of ubuntu 22.04 which made no diffrence at all. Chargers and cables checked out ok.

I dont know the answer, but it would seem something has permanently changed, either in the BIOS or in the firmware.
Is there a factory defaults setting in the BIOS?
Did you power it completely off, even remove the battery?
