LYX dictionaries and spellcheck do not work in Ubuntu

Hi all,

Ive been trying to use LYX (lyx.org) with Norwegian spellchecking, but I cant make it work (works fine with English). I tried downloading the dictionary from:
LyXWinInstaller - Browse /hunspell at SourceForge.net
but wasnt able to install.

Any suggestions on how to sort this out?

What you tried to do was for Windows.

Assuming you are using Ubuntu, you could try installing hunspell and the dictionaries first and then try it:

sudo apt install hunspell hunspell-no
