@Daniel_Phillips is actually quite a Linux expert as well a Win user.
He is our most experienced Gentoo user and I would not like to see him discouraged by that comment. It is a fair question, but in this case there is a strong answer.
With Neville on this one, we get many fine contributions from Daniel on linux systems
If you would take the time and research, my other posts, you will find, that I do
run Linux, mostly Gentoo, on machines running either XP or Vista, that were
collecting dust.
My main machine that is running W11, will never see a Linux install, except for a VM. My choice of the OS I use on my machines, is my choice, and is not an issue,
and neither is the “pleased or displeased” but thank you for your concerns!!!
I didn’t mean to hurt or disrespect him. @Daniel_Phillips, friend if you felt any rudeness in my question, then I must apologise. It was not my intention. In my personal life also, I try not to hurt anybody. Please accept my heartfelt apology. ![]()
To all my friends here, I am very sorry for my choice of words. It was never meant to hurt @Daniel_Phillips and will never be. But, it was said, “Arrow and words are two things, which cannot be revert back once threw.” So, I also cannot revert back my words. Which I can, I can apologise to not only @Daniel_Phillips but to all other members whom I have hurt with my words. I am just a newbie here who have come here for seeking help, not to argue. @Daniel_Phillips is a senior member. I should not use such harsh words. I am verry sorry for my words. I am very sorry. Please forgive me.![]()
@Skywalker71
No need for apologizes, it was a fair question!!! Just hope you understand my answer!!
I do friend. But in future I will be very much cautios about using my words. I promise. And I think, there will be no hard feelings, right? ![]()
Thanks @Skywalker71 . It is not all that serious. I just did not want things getting out of hand.
Thank you for this. Been thinking for a while about buying another drive and also having the two OS at the same time on my main PC. Now I’ve found another use for that new drive. Great!
