I have a Sony MP3 player.
Here my problem:
The player is not recognized under Linux Mint 19, as well not under Ubuntu 19.
I also own an older Laptop running Elementary OS 5 that recognizes the MP3 player without problem.
Any hint what could be the reason?
possibly the file system used by the device? can you share the mount terminal output for the mp3 player?
Presently I don’t have access to the MP3 player (my son’s).
But I do not think the problem is with the file system, otherwise it wouldn’t work under Elementary, which is also a derivative of Ubuntu.
