Working on some Fluent Design icons, as in Windows 10. My first attempt is with GIMP.
If I use the GIMP icon colours, it will be something like this
But a lot of people like to use associate Blue with GIMP 
Which one is your choice ?

The latter one looks better, because the former one’s colour looks like crap. On the other side, this is why I associate Gimp with the former one.

Because it is crap ? 
I just don’t like the colour. Not related to the logo in itself.
