Those of us who read the itsFOSS Newsletter will have seen that Intel is abandoning its Clear Linux Distro.
It is sad in some ways. It was the only attempt I am aware of to optimize a distro for a specific processor.
I tried it once. The installer was not multiboot-friendly. It wanted to erase my EFI partition and write its own. I gave up. So I never got to see if it would make my R programs run more efficiently.
Does anyone have a story of being able to use Clear Linux constructively?
