No idea if we’re going to get this in Pop!_OS - still running Gnome 42.
But I just encountered it today (uploading a photo to a website) - NO ICON / thumbnail preview when downloading or uploading a file :
Pop!_OS is headed towards using their own fork of Gnome called Cosmic. They’re writing it in Rust.
I guess I’m not sure what it is using in the current version of Pop.
