I took Pascal on cards in college. At the home of the “first automated electronic digital computer”. The Atanasoff-Berry computer.

Wirth contributed a lot to structured programming.
Pascal was meant to be a teaching language.
One of the best ways to learn C programming, is to
learn Pascal first.
