Open LibreOffice from its last edit point

In Open Office the document opens where it was last edited. In LibreOffice it opens at the beginning of the document. Not a big deal unless you work with long documents with many different subject headers. Knowing where you were working is often very important.

LibreOffice can do this too.

From the menu, go to Tools->Options->User Data. In here enter a first name and last name and save it.

From next time, LibreOffice will remember where you were editing your document and you’ll have the cursor at that position instead of at the beginning of the document.
