[Peak of Capitalism] Stigma

I only have Fiber with them and the modem/router they provide locks out this ability.
I have set each of my PC’s DNS but I would like to do it in the modem/router.

@7blade: Yes, I appreciate your frustration with not being able to change DNS servers in the hardware. But if you can do it per web browser I think it may an acceptable workaround. I have read somewhere that you could install alternate FOSS firmware for routers like DD-WRT or OpenWRT to unlock additional options, but that kind of project is over my head. Especially when I read caveats that you could brick the router if something goes wrong. The obvious option is to buy your own modem-router. You sound like a hardware guy (I’m more of a software guy) – so, well, best wishes to you.

Thank you very much for the info.
I made the changes in the network adapter settings on my systems.
I also use ExpressVPN often.
I started in computers in the early 70’s with machine language programming and adding ram to the computers I used.
For a time I ran a local ISP with about 15 servers I built myself (Authentication, email, DNS, web hosting, online gaming, and ftp). That was back in the dial-up days. Had about 8k subscribers then.
That’s when I realized IT meant Infinite Turmoil.
