VLC is said to be able to play blu-ray discs, but it doesn’t work for me. What do i do to make that possible, download files, maybe?

Firstly welcome to our community.
I looked at this as I had a problem with doing so in Mint some time ago. The best answer that I was able to get was from here: https://www.howtogeek.com/240487/how-to-play-dvds-and-blu-rays-on-linux/
